Pretty good, the starscape is still a little bland though, you could at least have sparratically brighter stars. Also, around whee the sun is, you couldn't see the dim stars. So if you want to be realistic, you can try to fade them out around it. The planet texture is nice but you could tone down the sharpening on the clouds. Clouds tend to have a sharp look to them and the atmosphere tends to blur any sharp detail showing up on the ground.

great work - love the colors and lighting. may i ask, what images did you use for your planet textures? it came out excellent

they were sattelite photos, made them black and white and used the magic wand tool for the colour.
the clouds were just a cloudmap of earth, manipulated to make it larger and then resized on top of the planet. i then did some playing around with blending options and so on (selected the whtie and gave it a drop shadow, set fill to 0)

lol, i dont know many people that make their textures from scratch. take a while, painting in all thse mountains o.O lol i guess i could make earthy ones though... might give that a go ;)
